Just for fun : Example 1
Below are two, left margin Cylinder blocks
of 6 stamps (a cylinder block allows collectors to identify
easily a particular stamp type, manufacturing process
and known defects, with accuracy)
One of the blocks has a catalogue value of £500.00
and the other a considerably less catalogue value of £2.00 – can
you tell the difference?

Answer: The difference is purely the cylinder
number in the top margin and the quantity of stamps that
would have been made from each one. |
